Reduced cost for travel documents for refugees and stateless persons

In October 2012 the UKBA are reducing the cost of applying for travel documents issued to refugees and stateless persons by £5 for adults and £3 for children.

From October 2012 the fees will be:

1951 UN Convention travel document issued to refugees
Adult: £72.50
Child: £46

1954 UN Convention travel document issued to Stateless persons
Adult: £72.50
Child: £46

If you apply for a 1951 or 1954 Convention travel document before October 2012 you must pay thcurrent fee. You will not be entitled to a refund after the fee has been reduced.

These changes will not effect the cost of applying for a Certificate of travel or a one-way travel document (IS137).
