The UKBA changes the visa fee payment system in Sierra Leone

The UKBA has announced that it will be changing the way that fees for visas to the UK are paid in Sierra Leone.

From 1 November 2012, the process of applying will change from being able to make payment to payment being accepted at only one branch of the Standard Chartered Bank.

You will therefore be no longer able to pay your visa application fee at the visa application centre in Sierra Leone. You must pay your fee at the British High Commission’s account with the Standard Chartered Bank before you attend the British High Commission and submit your biometrics, application form and supporting documents.

Your visa fee must be paid in person Monday – Friday, between 09:00 and 15:00 at the following branch in Freetown:

Standard Chartered Bank Sierra Leone Limited
9 and 11 Lightfoot Boston Street
Freetown
Sierra Leone
